Non-Contact Infrared Temperature Measurement

We are introducing our models LFS108C and LFS108D. They measure surface temperature of any object non-contact by measuring the amount of infrared energy radiated by the object. In addition they measure ambient temperature and the relative humidity (LFS108D). This is a small board (2.35 x 0.7 inches) with direct USB interface. It connects to a PC USB port, or a computer board like Raspberry Pi. The product comes with a powerful PC application as well as sample Python and (National Instruments) Labview programs. From the PC application you can perform many functions such as:

  • Monitor and Log Non-contact Infrared and Ambient Temperatures, and Relative Humidity (LFS108D)
  • Adjust Emissivity (0.10 to 1.00) of the target surface object
  • Fast response time - 125 msec
  • Send email and text message on alarm condition
  • Live video of the measurement event via Webcam
  • Take picture of the event and email it on alarm condition
  • Send real time data to the Cloud for data visualization and analysis - IoT
  • Verbalize a message on alarm condition
  • Software field calibration
  • Monitor and Log up to 12 USB devices simultaneously using our free data acquisition software (LFSDAQ)

This product can be used in many different applications such as:
